While shopping yesterday, I listened to some of my CDs on a Denon DVD2900 and noticed that came out of the player extremely warm. Does the Denon 2200 exhibit this same characteristic and should this be an issue of concern?
I noticed the same on a 2900 that I auditioned with a friend at a store recently. He eventually bought the 2200 and we've installed and played several discs and it was fine - much less heat output than the 2900 in the store. The store didn't have a 2200 hooked up to compare it to and his 2200 isn't on all day every day like the retailers - which might be the problem.
The 2900 machine and discs weren't really warm just noticeable.
