So, I have a Denon 5 disc changer - the DVM-3700, and my experiences with it are very similar to many of the posts that I found while searching the forum - good player, great CD sound, etc.
I have noticed a couple of movies from time to time that are not recognized by my Denon as playable, but are in other players. I didn't worry too much about it (Moulin Rouge movie disc, not the extras, was one) as they played fine in various computers, etc.
Now, I've discovered that Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship etc. will not load either. This is an entirely different kettle of fish.
I know the model is discontinued, but it has too many other good features to want to replace with a $100 backup. My local B&M store was not terribly helpful ("yeah, probably could be flashed to new firmware - you should call Denon")
I've called Denon and submitted an email into their service address on their site, but I was hoping somone here might have been through the same thing.
Any suggestions?
