I have the avr denon e400 receiver and I'm using cerwin vega ve15f for my fronts.they are very loud speakers but I can't get the bass I want out of them without turning the

Up high.any ideas?im guessing that audessy has a small part in it because I have a small room and it compresses the sound sometimes..I have the treble at -6 and the bass at +6 still not the bass I know these speakers can produce..appreciate it.

If after running Audyssey the sub trim is set to something other than -12db, then you can simply use the Subwoofer Level setting on the AVR to increase the sub volume by 5db or whatever to suit your preference. If it was set to -12db, which is usually the case when gain/volume knob is set to 12 o'clock, then back this setting down to about 9 o'clock and run Audyssey again until the sub trim is no longer set to -12db. In the case of a very efficient sub, this may mean setting the sub gain/volume knob to 7 o'clock.
