I think you mean the Denon Blu Ray player.... Which comes out in the next week or two. Denon, as far as I am aware, has no plans to make a HD DVD player.
Denon HD DVD Player Specs
I'm trying to get some info on the upcoming Denon HD DVD Player. They had a demo unit at CES but still haven't announced the release. The sales guy I spoke to at Denon was a little less then technically savvy, shall we say so I wasn't able to get any hard specs.
I'm hoping with Denon there would be full HD audio codec support but has anyone been able to confirm this? Also I've heard rumors there will be a combo-unit too (BD and HD) but without the ethenet port. Would this still be sold with the HD DVD label (if it doesn't meet the full spec)?

No I'm aware the Blu-ray model. I was referring to the HD DVD player they apparently demo'ed at (or at least around) CES.
Interesting. You have confirmation of this?
Nobody, and I mean nobody has mentioned this player yet and a Google search for "Denon HD-DVD".
I find it unlikely any new CE's will introduce non-combo HD-DVD players at this time, but anything can happen I suppose.

Too funny....Denon did NOT show an HD-DVD player at CES..

I'm a hard-core hd dvd supporter and want nothing more to win than HD DVD but still I dont' believe this. Sorry athiest.
They never talked about making one of these, but did mention they were wanting to do a dual format player a couple of months ago. Probably after the BD standalone comes out.
