A couple of months ago I began installing my home theater in the parlor of my house. I installed a Sharp DLP projector and ceiling-recessed screen. I next decided that I should upgrade my receiver from an old Pioneer with Pro-logic. I am currently looking for a good quality 7.1 channel receiver, probably Thx certified. I've been seriously considering the Denon avr-4802, the Onkyo nr-900, and the Pioneer Elite vsx-47tx. I would like to know your opinions on these receivers or any other receivers or separates in the same price range. :D

If your in this price range have a look at the SR9200 from Marantz, its of very high quality, and performs very well. As far as seperates are concerned in this approximate range look at Rotel.

I second the suggestion to check out the Marantz. I think they put out some of the best sounding gear in the industry.
