Denon or Yamaha

Neither of them is better, but one of them will definately sound better to you when you audition them together.

yea auditioning is a must. which models are you comparing?

Agree that you need to audition them side by side to see which you like the best. I was debating same issue, but after listening to them, I prefer the sound of the Denon given the Klipsch speakers I will be using.


It's a personal decision.

I have a Denon, but Yamaha makes nice stuff, too. You need to consider the features that you need/ want, price, and sound quality ... then pull the trigger. Regardless of which one you choose, you will likely have few regrets.
