I just purchased a SONOS connect and I would like to know if the denon has these two options.

1. Can you set default Volumes per input? For example the CD input will always default to -20db when powered on.

2. Can you raise the the source level independently? I would better like to normalize the sound variance from the SONOS I understand the SONOS has its own volume but I have the denon set to -20db to get decent output.

1. A Quick Select can be used to power on a source at a specific volume otherwise the AVR will globally power on at a specific volume for every source.

2. The Source Level setting can be set for each source, +/- 12db as a well to normalize the volume of each source at a given master volume level.

They're also handy to provide a way for quick returning to specific settings should things get confused "somehow". As in, wife/kids/cleaning lady fiddled with things. It's a bit unfortunate those aren't present as buttons on the remote.
