Hi,

I have a HTPC which uses PVR-250 cards and an HD HomeRun to capture QAM (using SageTV).

My HTPC can playback the PVR-250 MPEGs and low bitrate QAM channels OK. But not the HD channels (as I understand things, I'd probably need a 3Ghz P4 with a good video card for that).

I was wondering if any of the Mediagate, Tvisto, or similar products can playback the high bitrate captures broadcast via QAM (NTSC).

Sorry if this subject has been beaten to death already, I did a quick search but didn't find an answer.

My goal is to have my HTPC capture content, and then use an MG-35 (or other) to play the content later (not doing any timeshifting).

Thanks,

Mark
