Hello All,
I am in the research process for upgrading from my 1907 receiver. I have noticed that when people on the forum reference the Denon 1910 they sometimes write 1910/790. I checked the Denon site, did the compare thing and found the 1910 has "Advanced Power Amp Assignment" and the 790 can decode "Dolby Digital Plus." Everything else seems to be the same. So here are my questions:
1. What is Advanced Power Amp Assignment and is it worth paying more to have this feature?
2. Does anyone use Dolby Digital Plus anymore since there are HD formats that sound better?
3. Besides $50.00, what's the difference between these two receivers?
As always, thank you in advance for all your help.
Dave
