Hi everyone,

I'm looking (once LG realise the UK exists and release a 65" OLED) to update my AV to 4K. I'll need a GTX960 to get 4k out of my HTPC over HDMI, but also need to update my Pioneer receiver.

I know there will by Yamaha fans out there thinking I'm mad, but I've always found Pioneer to be close enough quality wise to make it a valid alternative. Anyway, to the question.

What is the difference in sound quality between the Pioneer SC2024 and LX58?

I will never go to 9.2CH nor Atmos, but I have decent Monitor Audio speakers and sound quality is important. The specs. apart from the channels look similar.

Cheers,

Jonjo

4K is a joke. There's next to no actual 4K media. I'd not worry about it. Get a TV that's good. That typically means not 4K.
