Digital Cable hookup to tv with twinview

204 Views 1 Reply 2 Participants Last post by  JohnFR
hey guys, i need some help please!

i thought i read somewhere a way to hookup digital cable thru the tv (in my case a sony 34hs510), and be able to use the index and twinview features. the only thing i remember from this is there is no information sent to the digital cable box for the program guide, but thats no big deal.

Is anyone able to explain how to do this, or where to find the details? and would i need a cable splitter? ? thanks in advance.

If your lower cable channels are analog, you can split the cable and run one feed directly to your set and use your set's internal tuner to change channels, and run the other feed to your cable box. You connect the cable box's output to a separate video input on your set, e.g., using svideo or composite.
