hi everyone,

i remember reading somewhere recently about being able to hook up a digital cable box and be able to use the twin view for seperate channels, but i can;t remmeber how this worked. i think it involved putting cable to the tv, then out to the box, then... no idea. All i can remember is that i wouldn't be able to get info on the shows i would be watching (along with channel names, etc.)

Anyone who can remind me of how to do this, or where to find it, thanks!

In my case, I use the analog feed(ant out) from the cable box to feed the ant in of the hs510. This allows the index feature that scrolls thru the analog signals on our cable from BHN. The Sony should also allow you to pick another of the inputs as the 2nd source for the Twin view if you are trying to do something different.

I use a splitter from the cable outlet to ANT for the Twin View when watching TV. Video 1 is S-Video to the Box, Video 5 is component cables to the DVD Player, Video 6 is component cables for HD to the Box.
