Digital HBO problems

Still getting the occasional problems with recording digital

HBO channels. The MPEG encoder is overloading where video

becomes very blocky about twice a second. Any ideas on

fixing this? It seems to be less often after switching to

composite video but still happens with (only) digital HBO.

I'm using Oceanic Digital that uses the Scientific Atlanta

model 2000.


Also noted a couple of video dropouts where about two seconds

of the show will just be missing although this is not a HBO specific

problem though.
