Digital Recievers: Pioneer vxs50(ex500 combo) or Panasonic xr50?

I just picked up the vsx50 open box(for a steal)it came as a combo with a dvd player with sacd etc.(although i use the denon 1910dvi) and am still in the process of setting it up and testing it.


What chips does this thing use? Is it the same chipset as whats in the panny's?

I know alot of you have the xr50 but there seem to be few that have this pioneer digital piece.

So far one thing i really like about the Pioneer is the mic(mcacc)set up that it comes with.
