My HTPC reboots when I enter 1360 x 1024 on PowerStrip which is o.k., what is not o.k. is that it defaults back to a lower resolution. Of course, this means it does not accept the Dila resolution and it seems to be because the Radeon software does not have the setting available. I know people are using Radeon cards at Dila resolutions in this forum so please tell me what I need to do for this to work. I'm running Win2000 with the Radeon 64m DDR VIVO. Help, as always, is tremendously appreciated-even more so if there is no mention of my questions being of a DA nature!

AudioFileZ,

What version of Powerstrip are you using? Also what

version of the ATI video drivers are you using?

Only the lastest version of Powerstrip [ 3.0 beta, if

memory serves ], can do the D-ILA resolutions.

It can do that only with certain versions of the ATI

video drivers. There has been a lot of discussion of

this on the HTPC forum.

Additionally, if I recall correctly; the above combination

only works on Win98 and WinMe operating systems. I don't

believe that ATI has customizable resolutions that run

under Win2000. But check the HTPC forum about this.

Better yet, go right to the source and see the answer. http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/smile.gif

There just happens to be a question similar to yours there now, except with a GF Card.
