Do these two units work well together. Being that they are both made by JVC you would think so, however I remeber reading that it looked rather dark on the Dila. Anybody use these two together. Saw the D-Vhs run with double stacked Runco digital projectors yesterday, it was a nice picture

I have seen the SX21 with a D-Theater and the result was stunning.

It can look stunning on my M20 D-ILA. However, the images don't look as good to me through component as through my HTPC (other than the "Beauty of Japan" tape that can't go through my HTPC but looks incredible). I'm currently trying to figure out what transcoder would help me use the computer inputs instead of the component input. My experience with this D-ILA is that almost nothing is what one would call "easy", but much of it is well worth the effort.

If I ran it through my Key Digital which has a built in transcoder, do you think that would make the difference

Yes, the two units will work together.


Theoretically, running component from the 30K through a transcoder to Computer2 on the DILA should yield a better image.
