I am using a JVC G11, CI scaler and Dish 6000. The problem I have is that when using my DVD player and going through the scaler fills the screen. However, when I use my Dish 6000, feeding it directly into the VGA input for HDTV, the picture doesn't fill the screen anymore. Does anyone else have this problem? Could it be the Dish 6000? I seem to remember that Foster had a fix for the G11 and HDTV. What did it do? How can one get it now that Foster is out of the modification business?

Are you running component from dish to G11? If so, you are probably set up for 1280X720. Since the CI is using 1365x1024, it uses all of the panel and hence looks larger.

At any rate, use Dilard imagery wizard to tweak this up if it really bugs you.

Hope this helps,

Phil

You said VGA input. The VGA input of the D-ILA is not compatible with HDTV. You need to you the RGBHV input of the G11.
