Can someone explain what is the best refresh rate to output from a scaler and what resolution to use. I read the old stuff, but now I am more confused than ever.


Its seems like its an issue between 72 and 75 hz and 1365x1024 and 1360x1024


What are my options and assuming that the scaler uses 72 hz and 1365x1024, will that create a problem?

Hi Humey,


Call me old-fashioned, but I use the 1360x768 at 72 Hz. I think that your scaler option of using 1365x1024 at 72 Hz. should be fine.


By the way, it's pretty hard to find the non LT150 threads lately. I didn't want to see your thread drop right through unnoticed!

thanks, and at those rates does it autosync correctly?

DILA seems to autosync well to 60Hz, (70 or 72Hz), and 75Hz.


70 and 72 seem to sync to the same source setting, but shifted. Stick with one or the other.
