Planning to add dipole speakers to the rear wall of my room for 7.1. Back wall is pretty close to second row of seating and there's not much room for stands. I can easily mount to rear wall, but am wondering how high to put 'em.


Side speakers are near ceiling (due to room config.). My thoughts are to put the rears 2-3 feet above row 2 listening position. Does this sound OK or should I go higher/lower?

Well, my Paradigm dealer told me that my ADP-470's should work best about 1' above the ear level in my listening position, I know there are no hard and fast rules about this stuff, but there are always some good starting points. They seem to work well in my home in this area.
