I have Directv service and I've recently bought a Mits 52525 dlp set. My question to those with Directv HD service is which STB should I buy? I'm really not sure if they're are any options out there. Does anyone know if a STB with HDMI is available or going to be available soon? Or would that be a waste of my only HDMI input?

The current model is the RCA DTC-210, it has a DVI out which can be converted to HDMI with an adapter. It would probably be best to put your HD feed on the HDMI connector. The LG 3200A, Sony HD300, Hughes HTL-HD and the Samsung 360 are worth checking out if you can stll find them, they are being phased out as D* goes to D* branded receivers. All of these models have DVI out also. If you want a unit with an HDMI out, the HR10-250 Tivo model is your only choice at the moment.
