Searched far and wide on this site and elseware and couldn't find any working codes. None of the codes listed in the Direct TV remote programmer menu seem to work. Thus, I'm looking for the remote code, especially from someone who's actually used it with success for the Direct TV remote for the Panasonic TC series Plasmas, specifically the TC-P50X5. All I want to do is turn off and on the tv and adjust the volume with the Direct TV remote. Anything more complicated I would use the Panny remote.

Actually, yes I had tried all the Panny Plasma codes listed on that site with no luck (most are included on the Direct TV setup menu, btw). However, I switched out the remote for an older one I had sitting in a drawer and the first code worked! The remotes look otherwise identical so I don't know what the deal was, but mission accomplished and thanks for your suggestion.
