Here's my problem:

I have a 2 line, RCA dish, 2 Set top boxes, and Direc TV.

One line from the dish goes to a STB connected to a TV, I never have problems w/ signal loss.

The second line goes to the second STB, that is plugged directly into my PC via coaxial and TV tuner card. This way, I can use Media Center as a DVR.

This second line loses signals all the time, while the ohter line, the one connected to a TV, never loses it's signal. Is there an explanation for this?

I don't belive it has anything to do with dish positioning or interference because the first line works just fine.

I thought maybe it could be the actual cable from the dish to the STB? Could there be any other explanation?

By "signal loss", do you mean the satellite signal? Or the TV signal from your DirecTV Receiver to the PC?

If it's the satellite signal, what happens if you swap the cables from between the two DirecTV set top boxes? If the problem moves, then you know it's a cable or connector problem.
