Does a directshow filter exist that allows me to decode a 5.1 stream, matrix 2 extra channels using DPL IIx or DD EX/DTS ES or some other matrix codec and then output a 7.1 channel LPCM stream via HDMI to my receiver? Of course, if the source played is 7.1 it should just decode the signal to 7.1 LPCM.
I want to add room correction filters before the stream is sent to the reciever, so if I output a room corrected 5.1 stream and the receiver does the 5.1 -> 7.1 job, the room correction wouldn't be applied for the two back channels. The two back channels would even be room corrected based on the sound of the surround channels, which would be just wrong...
