directv and hd cable on coax

Simple question did a search and could not find it. Can you have both the directv and cable hd signal on a single coax line and then split it at the boxes?

It would need to be diplexed at both ends, not split. And even that won't work with the new AT9 dish.
Sorry, wrong term. But you believe that the Oval Triple LNB can diplex with an HD cable line on coax and be broken back out ath the other end?
Triple LNB system uses 950 - 1450 Mhz and typical cable uses 5 - 750 or 860 Mhz. If you use diplexers with those frequency splits it will work.
