DirecTV HD audio cutting out??

458 Views 3 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  Mikey Palmice
I just had my DirecTV HD hooked up to a sony 50 inch A10. When I watch HD channels, sometimes there is a half second cut-out of the audio. It happens quite often.

I am using HDMI to the set, and optical cable to an AV receiver for the sound.

Is this normal for DirecTV's feeds or HD in general, or a problem?

thanks

Try hooking the audio up via RCA's and see if they have the problem also. What receiver do you have by the way? HR10-250, H10 or H20?

This problem has been reported for the local HD channels (only) with Dolby broadcasts, but I have not seen it reported on any other channels. Also, may sure your settings on the audio are set to Dolby On.
