Directv, Mitsu srhd400, option of black or grey bars?

I have directv, I have a mitsu srhd400 box, recently some new upgrade came thru the line and I had to research for all my local channels (they were ALL gone one day) and I also noticed my settings of black bars on the sides had gone back to grey bars on the side (when and if I was watching a rare 4:3 show) mainly I watch hdnet and hbohd,,,,


Anyways I went thru the local channel setup again, reset all those digital locals fine, went thru the menus to find where and how to change that grey bar thing back to black side bars but couldnt find the option now?


Did they do this most recent software upgrade and take that option out???
