Anyone else having a problem with the even transponders on DirecTV on Friday 2000-2100 PDT? I'm seeing them go in and out all of a sudden. Maybe it is my LNB if nobody else is seeing this problem.

Try switching your cables on the twin Sat A from the Multi-Switch, if that is the one giving you the problem. Then, if the ODDs are causing problems then it's the cables/connections to that LNB. Recheck and tighten everything.


If that does not work then you may have a bad LNB.


If the EVENs are still bad, it may be a bad Multi-Switch.


Just fixed a similiar problem yesterday. I now tied the cables down so no wind could work on them. I've done three of these in the last month (2 were owned by others).

I'm going out today and swap the connection on the LNB. I'm not using a multi-switch (yet). The system has been in place for about 4 years now so I'm not surprised it has died.
