What's up with these reports in the public threads? A couple have said that the latest FW install resulted in no BD playback. Are they winding up with the wrong loader version or what?

Most likely wrong loader, corruption of the flash, or just a coincidental loss of the blue laser.

I had wondered at one point if user error was involved, like flashing the FW with a disc in the drive, etc.

I have not updated our the last 3 FW into the 83 {I have been testing the SE}.

I did this on purpose -I figured by the next FW i would firm-up. I just was testing to see it there were any issue with missing a few FWs. I know in theory there shouldn't any issues- but i the real world.......... we are here for Testing & Torture right...

Can we use the PF -- FW?
