Hey all:

Can't believe I can't find any post for this, as I'm sure I'm not the only one who wants to know, so excuse me if this has already been answered. I've given up on searching.

I have a zalman 7000 alcu, which, like every other darn fan out there thesedays, has a blue LED on it. In a HTCP, that's no good to see a case glow. It looks like the fan is not standard, so replacing it seems unlikely. Is there anyway to disconnect the LED from the fan? I'd actually love to go thru all my computers and get rid of the LEDs.

The last fan I did this to had a large plastic like strip going around the border of the fan. I removed that which the LEDs were attached too and no more lights!
