That's all I've got. If you have access to a JP1 remote, you can find the discretes, if they exist, in about 15 minutes by trying every possible command code, of which there are 256. You can also do this with pronto hex, but it will be more work. Post back if you want to try either of these options.

I recently replaced my 70" sharp TV with a new model, an LC-70UH30U, and have observed that the discrete Power On IR code that worked with the older model doesn't work with this new model. It appears that the other IR codes do work, including the discrete Power Off code. I suspect that this might just be a bug with this new TV (only been available for a few weeks now) since Power On is the only one that's not working.

I was wondering if anyone else may have encountered this same problem??

Note that I'm using a Pronto TSU9400 remote control and the IR codes I'm using came from the Philips database.
