There has been a lot on this board that the 7uy displays should support discrete codes.


Does anyone have any info on this?

If you have a programmable remote, there are codes for the previous generation Panasonic commercial plasmas at remotecentral.com.


Let us know if you try these.

I'm sure some of the previous codes will work but we want to know if there are discrete codes for all of the inputs. Why wouldn't Panny, or any other company for that matter, make the discrete codes available to the public? They should be included in the manual or at least be listed on their web site. Better yet, post downloadable files for some of the most popular remotes. Discrete codes are a convenience feature (and more and more of a necessity) not intellectual property that must be protected.

Here's a link from Remote Central that has discrete input codes that worked with my 42PWD7UY and MX-800.

Hmm, I have a programmable remote, but it doesn't connect to the PC. Sorry I can't help with this one.
