When I view ABC HD channel on my Dish 6000 I notice that I get jagged edges - every 2nd or 3rd (not quite sure) scan line is offset. I get the channel from both San Diego and LA and see the same thing. I know that ABC transmits in 720p rather then 1080i so I suspect that it may be related to this. Has anyone else seen this? Is there something wrong with my Dish 6000?

Thanks in advance,

Yes, it is a common problem, known as the "zipper" effect. If you can catch the search function when the board isn't too busy, there are plenty of postings that address the topic. I believe the solution was to adjust the picture position in 6000's HDTV menu, which will eliminate the problem.

Thanks! Shifting the image slightly fixed the problem.
