Had Dish installed on last Monday and have been enjoying the fine world of HD when all of sudden, in the middle of viewing a show last night, my satellite stops working.


I received an error stating that there was a problem with my multi-switch and to run a Check Switch test. Well, I did that three times and the test came up successful all three times. Spent some time with DISH Tech support on the phone and they said it had to do with my cabling and or my switch.


I went on the roof to check things out and everything looked fine. My question is, could it be the switch? What could have happened for it to stop working all of a sudden. If all the tests came up successful, then how could it still be the switch?

I just had my 6000 installed last Tuesday, and the Dish Network installer said there was a 60 day warranty on the installation. If the tech is telling you it's the cabling or the switch, they out to send someone out right away free of charge.
