I'm looking for a *reputable* online Dish Network dealer that offers the 6000 receiver stand-alone with no strings attached (ie. no "additional receiver requirement") for the $400-450 range.

I'm already pointing at 61.5 and 110/119, and I've been a subscriber for about 4 years, so I wouldn't qualify for any of the promotions either.

Any suggestions?

TIA

Hi Curt,

Thanks for the reference - I ordered a receiver from Mark today.

Pretty good price.

I'm still waiting to purchase mine . . . I need to talk to an installer to see about OTA channels and hookup to my existing Dish system.

Got the 6023 system for $369 from AllSat.com

New subscriber deal. I'm happy with it so far.

The best deal I've seen for the 6000 receiver is from www.jd-electronics.com
Soycrema,

Unfortunately, jd-electronics.com makes you fax something in (from what I saw) saying that you'd set it up as an additional receiver ($4.99 a month) or else pay a premium. Most other Dish dealers that I found were the same (I probably visited 40 websites looking). dishdepot.com was the best price that I could find that didn't have this requirement.

There are lots of new subscriber deals around, though the price seems to have gone up (assuming it went up with the "I like 9" deal).

Thankfully I've already got the Dish 500 plus 61.5 setup, so it'll be just a matter of plugging the receiver in and activating it when I receive it.

Thanks!
