I recently upgraded from dish 6000 to 811 in my home.I would like to hook-up the 6000 receiver in a game room with a bedroom attached. The receiver(6000)would be located in the bedroom.Could the 6000 be hooked up to a standard 4:3 analog t.v. in the bedroom on one of the outputs, and also hook up to an hdtv in the game room with a longer run of rbg cable. It doesn't matter that both tv's will be on the same programming because it will be rare that both of these tv's will be watched at the same time. The hdtv will be hung on the game room wall and I would rather the receiver be out of sight. Thanks for any input.

Yes, you can hook up both a SD TV and HD TV to the 6000 but you won't be able to view both at the same time. Use the SD/HD button on the front of the 6000 or on the remote to select the type of output.
