Could this HD/DTV get any more confusing?

I am one of the lucky ones that can receive my locals via E*. Does that mean in and of itself that I can also get the HD feeds of the locals (ie CBSHD, ABCHD, etc.)? What would be involved? Another Dish, Switches, etc.?

Has anyone been able to do something like this?

Any and all responses greatly appreciated.

No. If you don't have a local feed (that's not O&O - yadda...yadda...yadda) you almost certainly won't get the CBS-HD feed. That's it for E*. There's no FOX-ED (Fox doesn't do HD yet), ABC-HD, or NBC-HD even available. You'll need to go OTA (w/either a stand-alone OTA receiver of one of E*'s HD receivers which will include an OTA tuner) to get your HD locals. Visit antennaweb to see what's available in your area. For kicks you can read the CBS-HD D* thread at the top...it's D* specific, but all the same info applies to E* subs.
