Has anyone tried feeding two televisions with a single receiver? I'm thinking about feeding my LCD projector in the basement from the a 501 receiver that is already feeding a tube TV in my living room. I understand that I will not be able to watch two different TV shows but that is ok. I would only use the LCD projector for sporting events, etc. So it won't be used very often. The LCD projector would be fed using the S-Video out and the 2nd Audio Outs while the tube TV is being fed using standard coaxial cable.

DishNetwork told me this could be done but would degrade my signal strength but I thought I would post here before I attempted to lay more wire in my basement.

That will work fine. I am currently feeding my s-video out into my PC tuner card and I am feeding the composite out to my modulator. I was also previously feeding the coax output to my VCR. I believe that all all outputs are active at the same time. I did not notice any degredation in the signal quality. You can always add a signal booster to the coax if you need it, but I do not think you will.
