There are some great demo discs available here thanks to the hard work of many members and they are great at showing off your system at it's best

I'm just wondering if there is any disc available designed to test any potential display (TV or Projector) , something you could take into the store, play and say "yep that display kicks ass because it plays these scenes so well"

For me, how well a display plays dark scenes is very important, so scenes like the facial close ups of Denzel in the dark early in the Equalizer, some of the end scenes in Edge of Tommorrow etc

Any ideas on what other types of scenes to include on such a disc ?

The end result being a really useful tool to use when buying your next display

I think you would need one of Pixar's Blu-rays to really push the limits of a display. Something like Toy Story 3's conveyor belt scene.
