Displayport to HDMI - 3d Content

I have a PC with an Nvidio Quadro 5000 card, I want to view 3d content on my LG 55LW5600 television. I am wondering if the adapter I link to below will support the 3d content with the aforementioned configuration:

Hi, Used the same and mini-DP to HDMI adapters with an AMD 6970 for 3D to a projector. If the Quadro card can do 3D it should work.

What do you use the Quadro card for? CAD? Graphics?

We will be doing 3d renderings from 3ds max and Maya to display on the TV.
