Distributed audio BOX

Got that NAD Master M51 DAC and preamp. I used the NAD C270 power amplifier for stereo sound. I want to introduce sonic exciter, which is a stereo sound enhancement processor. I am using an ART stereo power amplifer for the sound processor. I connected the preamp to the NAD amplifer via rca cable. Cable runs from "input" of the NAD C270 to "output" of M51. Then from "output" of M51 to "input" of Sonic exciter via XLR. "output" of sonic exciter goes to the "input" of ART amp. but all I get is static and no controls of sonic exciter

Do I need a stand-alone distributed audio box? Do they have passive? can you recommend something that will work for less than 100$, or slightly more? I tried a 4 channel mixer but that had a LOT of noise and mixed my stereo signals to mono. I want something noise free if possible

P.S
speaker cables are connected to my NAD C270 not the ART amplifier
