I have the dreaded L shaped room with planars. I want to treat the one sidewall to balance things out and am debating trying one of the following:

o affix Sonex panels to the wall. Simple.. proven... not *too* expensive... though I am not sure where to buy in Toronto.

o make the avscience panels. Even less expensive. Can match to room decor.

o hang a rug. Can be very decorative. Will hang it roughly one inch off the wall via wooden hanger. A minutes worth of labour (cut and drill).

Any recommendations for the preferred approach. Sonex seems to be the most scientific approach, with the rug the least. I would only be covering a 4ftx6ft area.

Thanks... as always.

med,

If you are thinking DIY, take a look at these 4 articles.

May be a way for you to go.

I did the Q&D bass traps and the wall panels in my HT. With much success, I may add.

Good Luck,

BOK
