I plan to build an inexpesive subwoofer, I had a duel 12" sub in mind with 2 eD EHQS12 Subwoofers (whats the diffenrecne between s2 and s4 voice coils?) and a 300 watt amp. Would that make a high performance sub and what size encloser should I use?

s2 or s4 depends on the amp, what amp are you using? BASH 300?
If the amp is good down to 4 ohms buy the s2 drivers, if it is olny good down to 8 ohms buy the s4's
