DJI's Air 2S is the follow-up to the excellent Mavic Air 2 drone. It ups the ante in terms of the onboard camera by moving up to a 1" sensor, which previously was reserved for DJI's larger "pro" oriented drones. But now, this enthusiast targeted drone offfers a camera package that can capture some seriously awesome imagery, thanks to the added dynamic range and ISO flexibility delivered by a camera with a 1", 20-megapixel, 3:2 aspect ratio sensor.

When it comes the video capture, this drone is a beast. It offers 5.4 K (5472 x 3078 pixels) at 24, 25 and 30 frames per second. With 4K, it offers frame rates from 24 up to 60 frames per second, and it can do full HD 1080 at up to 120 frames per second. The maximum video bit rate is 150 Mb per second. it is able to capture video in 10 bit D-log-M for those who like to grade in post.

DJI has set the price for this new drone at $999 ( for the regular package) or $1299 for the "Fly More Combo" that adds extras such as additional batteries, the case, a multi-battery charger, and neutral density filters.
