I posted this within the HD65 thread (my projector) but it can easily overseen in such a popular thread....Anyways, I thought I'd throw it here....

Just wondering if there is a quick way to clean the dust out a little without having to un-mount the projector. I know this isn't the best way, but I figured its a good way to start. I think I might have a dust blob...not sure.

My homemade mount makes it a little tough to line everything back exactly the way it was if I unmount it. Any help is greatly appreciated.

In a word, no. There is no way you can get to the dust from the outside. Assuming you're talking about any dust that is visible in the image.

The projector HAS to be opened to gain access into the imaging chamber. That chamber is where any dust will be visible on the image. It cannot be cleaned from the outside of the projector.
