Hey Guys, I've searched high and low!!! Not many threads on this topic.

So here's my story, i've had a Samsung HL-T5076S for over a year with its fair share of problems. I love the TV though, picture is awesome. So far, i've had my unit replaced once, and now on the second you, the Digital board just had to be replaced.

The tech was unaware (due to samsung's lack of information) that he might have to match up the CCA data to either my existing color wheel or the same settings as the last Digital board that was installed.

Regardless, I had him come back out and we matched up the settings manually as to what the old ones were so all is good.

But I was reading on DMD to digital copy.

What does this option do in the service menu? Does it match up the color wheel specs to the DMD CCA settings? Could we have just done this?

I cannot find any info on this and might be totally off! correct me if I'm wrong!!

Thanks.

Nevermind, i've found my answer! Check that page out - tells you waht you need to know when relpacing either and want to make sure you stick with factory settings. If you've calibrated make sure to write down your original CCA settings before changing the boards!!
