I don't know of anyone who has tried it with that specific model, but I can say with certainty that in every other DMR EHxx model, any one has tried to increase the size of the HDD has failed. The drive size appears to be firmly encoded in the firmware of the machine, making increasing the usable size of the HDD impossible. To be specific, you can certainly put in a larger HDD, but when you format the HDD for use in the DVD recorder, it formats to the size of the drive that originally came with the machine. The EH69 might be different, as I said, I have never heard of anyone trying it with that specific model, but given the history of the Panasonic DVD recorders, I seriously doubt you will be able to put in a larger HDD and get access to the additional storage space on the larger HDD.
