on a high frequency monitor lets say 4k 120hz or faster, yes the cable matters...some cables just arent fast enough.

Are you trying to say that 4k is a TV with a refresh rate of 120 Hz?
If so, then that would be a processor speed thing not a power cable issue.

no computer monitors...but could apply to to tv's...hdmi cant get past 120hz I think...or 60hz....need displayport cables. 1.2 displayport can max at 120hz i think...1.4dispayport can do 175hz and up....if you buy a 240hz monitor you need a cable that can pass that tech

I'm not asking about HDMI cables. I'm wondering how audiophiles deal with getting their hearing checked. How do they ensure the cables have been burned in properly? Do some audiologists allow you to bring your own cables?

you ask troll question you get troll answer.

Sure was thinking about power cables for a 4k monitor, not the digi cable. ;)
