Hi!

I should be getting my 400 this Thursday so I need to know what to do first. Is my first projector so please help is very appreciated. Do I have to warm up the 400 like I do with my direct view tv? Cheapest but still good UPS to use with it? How do I recognize dead pixels? I am afraid about the dust problem with the projector...how can I prevent it?

I don't know how to prevent dust in this unit except for building a filtered enclosure? I also noticed when I bought my 400Q brand new there was a slight warm electronics smell for about the first 20 hours of use. I was told by MVS that this was normal. No this projector doesn't require a warmup time. The 400Q makes an excellent first FPTV!

Thanks for the reply! I can't wait to get my hand on it. Right now I am working on speaker placement and other stuff in my HT room so when the projector arrives I only have to work with it. I read many reviews and comments before going the FPTV route and I really think I did the right thing by choosing FPTV over RPTV.
