I'm in the market for a projector. It will be my first! I'm wanting either a Benq6100 or a 6200, and I don't know which to get. Yes I want to watch HDTV, but the problem is that I live in the middle of Nowhere Kansas and will get NO over the air goodness. I already have a DTV system, but its not equipped for HDTV signals. So I undertand that I would have to buy a brand new dish system and receiver. So my questions are thus:
1. How much more would my monthly service be to receive ESPN HD and the other Satellite feeds or national HD channels.
2. Is XGA really that much better than SVGA for watching DVDs and playing Xbox on? Does it justify the extra $700?
3. Should I get the 6100 and wait three years until HD is better transmitted and more available?
Keep in mind that I will spend 90% of the time playing DVDs and Xbox, very very little SDTV, to keep lamp hours down.
Please help with objective opinions!!!!
