I have been researching the Samsung models for a while. It appears to me that all the buzzing complaints I have heard are from the 58 inch models. I have not read much about this issue with the 63 inch displays. Is it just beacuse more people have the 58 inch models than 63 inch models or is it actually true that 63 inch displays are not prone to buzzing.

I am willing to pay the extra dollars for the 63 inch if it does not buzz. Thanks

63b550 here and no buzz

Thanks. I am sure this topic would have come up before but I have not read anything. Interesting to see if this is in fact true.

The weekend is a slow post day and you only gave it less than a day...

Some 63" units buzz and there is no evidence that the 63" models are any more or less prone to possible buzzing than the smaller models. You see more reports of the 58" models buzzing simply because there are MANY more 58" models sold. Someone did a seconary poll on the Samsung buzzing months ago by model and size and the results were all over the place.

Bottom line is most people don't get buzzing sets. Odds are in your favor regardless of model. But the potential is there. Buy somewhere with a return policy.

If you DO get a buzzer do NOT waste time dealing with Samsung -- return it immediately and move on to a different brand. No one has conclusively figured out why but those who do get buzzers tend to get them again. It may be some reaction to their environment or setup but, again, no one knows.

Thanks. That is what I thought that there were more 58 inch sets out there than 63 inch ones.
